If you weren’t an Orthodontist, what would you be?

AustinStewartville and Rochester orthodontist Dr. Overby loves making his patients’ teeth straight and and healthy! He enjoys improving the smiles and confidence of our patients, and providing the best orthodontic care for everyone who visits our office. But we thought we’d ask him what profession he would pursue if it wasn’t for orthodontia. Here’s what Dr. Overby said:

If I wasn’t an orthodontist, I would like to be a farmer because I believe there is great value in what they do and I would like the opportunity to be outside more often. I grew up in a farming community and have quite a few friends and relatives who farm for a living. I realize it would be hard work and I have none of the mechanical skills which would be necessary. Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to give it a try on a small scale without the pressure of having to make a living at it.
